Clubs And Societies
CLUBS AND SOCIETIES IN THE SCHOOL
The school has thirteen active clubs and four societies. The school programme has alternate Wednesdays from 4 to 5 pm set aside for club activities and meetings. This is when when club meetings are held. All the students are encouraged to join at least one club and one society.
The main aims of the clubs and societies include the following:

Environment Club
The Environment Club is an international recognised movement that is concerned with all aspects of environmental elements and factors affecting and influencing not only the school but also the whole world at large. Our main functions are;
- Educating on the Importance of a clean environment
- Tree Planting
- Environmental management and conservation
- Waste management

Young Life ClubScience Club
Being one of the core academic clubs in the school, the science club's main objective is to ensure attining of top satisfactory grades in the school in the science subjects taught in the school, these are Chemistry, Biology and Physics. We attain this through conducting peer teachings on the problematic topics in the subjects more so on sunday after the services and exams on saturdays all this in attempt to cultivate the reading culture in the school.

Chama Cha Kiswahili
Chama cha Kiswahili kilianzishwa na mwalimu Mutahi kama mojawapo ya vyama vinavyohusishwa na masomo shuleni. Chama hiki kinanuia kuhakibha ya kwamba hadhi ya lugha Kiswahili shuleni kwa kuhakikisha kina zingatiwa si katika maongezi tu bali pia kama somo. Chama hiki kina maazimio ya kwamba Kiswahili kitaweza kutambulika si shuleni tu bali pia Nchini na hata ikiwezekana Duniani mzima.

Music Club
"MF ndio funky noma High School" {Gregory Wamalwa 4E} meaning "Music Festivals are the Best Functions in High School. True to his words the Music Club is the one of the clubs that has highly contributed to building the name of the school nationwide because year in year out the School Choir never misses to take bag of items to be performed at the National Level in the Kenya National Music Festivals. Take an example in 2019 it took 3 items to the nationals and the outcome was as follows in the various classes:

St.John Ambulance
The St.John Ambulance is a society of affiliated organisation known internationally for teaching and offering First Aid and Medical Services and the association is officially overseen by the International Order Of St.John and Its Priories. At large in the Ofafa Jericho community and nation wide, the Club has proved to be there always prepared to offer to services incase of emergencies.

Young Life is an international non-denominational organization, which is led by volunteers who are adults and young adults who are dedicated to help and guide teenagers to transform and deal with challenges responsibly as well as growing in their faith.The club organises activities in the school such as Workshops, Hikes and Camps more so during the holidays aiming to transform teenagers and help them to effectively deal with this problems affecting them.

The JA club in the School attempts to inspire and prepare the Ojerian students and also the society at large to succeed in a global economy.

Drama Club
Drama Club is another club that has highly contributed to building the name of the school nationwide because year in year out the School Choir never misses to take various performances in the various sections in the Kenya National Drama Festivals.
Best of this Year's Performance was "Madam Anyango" an interesting Narrative performed by Antony Mwashigadi.

Talent Club
Everyone alive in the world was born to something special to him or her what we as the talent club refer to it as TALENT. Our core responsiblity as the Talent Club is to nurture the talents among the students of Ofafa Jericho High School in various ways such as organizing cultural days and competitions to help developed and expose the students talents.

Talent Club was initially started by Ibrahim Kimemia in the year 2015. In our club we are privilaged to be one of the clubs that organise events such as Cultural shows. Where people come and showcae their talents and we also represent our school in other events and there talents are showcased and students get to win themselves prizes accordin to what they do. This clubs has helped the students at large in naturing their talents

Journalism Club
Journalism club is a recently founded club in the school. It consists of about fifteen students who are the pioneers of the club. With the increasing number of current events and the easy accessibility of information from the various resources supplied in the school, the future journalists compile reports ranging from educative, entertainment and relaxation.The school has done its best to support the club by creating the opportunity for the journalists to attend the various functions attended by the school. The journalists then compile a report on the happenings of the event which is then made available to the rest of the school.
Our mission as the journalism club is to produce a school magazine and newspaper which would be focused on educating, motivating and entertain the Ofafa Jericho community as a whole.
